Location
Point Hicks

Within the wilderness of the Croajingolong National Park, Point Hicks stands watch over the Tasman Sea.

Point Hicks, accessible from Cann River via the Point Hicks Road, is known for its wild and natural beauty, punctuated by the sentinel of the Point Hicks Lightstation.

The Lightstation is the tallest lightstation on mainland Australia.  The surrounding area provides a near perfect location to view the purple and green hues of the Southern Lights, or Aurora Australis, a natural phenomenon that peaks around the spring equinox each year.
